At the annual meeting, the Spring Branch Volunteer Fire Department presented a check for $1000 to the 100 Club of Comal County in honor of Odean Gass, who recently passed away and his wife, Gloria. Both were dedicated to the organization and the citizens it served. In 2014 the $1000 donation to the 100 Club was made in honor of the first Fire Chief, Marvin Uecker, Jr. and Alvin Kaderli.
